Dear Subscribers of Watching Asia Blog,
If you are reading this, then it means that I have abandoned a feed delivery service known as "Feedburner". This was caused by the fact that Feedburner stopped being reliable over the course of the past two weeks and was no longer delivering email updates to subscribers.
In view of this fact, I carefully considered my options and decided to switch over to "follow.it" feed service. Three factors contributed to this decision: 1) "follow.it" offers a free plan with unlimited number of subscribers; 2) They have in-depth tutorials on how to shut down Feedburner and move to their service; 3) I did some testing and found out that their deliveries actually work.
What will change at your end? Basically nothing. I tried to make this moving process as seamless as possible. Email subscribers do NOT need to reconfirm their subscription (but there's a possibility follow.it may ask for it in the message prompt), whereas RSS readers will be redirected to the original feed channel of this blog. What is more, the email subscription widget has been moved to the bottom of the main page. The only change, in fact, is the layout of messages that will be send to subscribers.
If for some reason you are unhappy with the feed switch, you can always unsubscribe by clicking the "unfollow" button which is located at the top of each message from follow.it. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Thank you for understanding and have a great Monday,
Oliver Ebisuno92
